What Weaver Base Mount # made for Savage Mark II F .22LR Bolt Action Rifle?
Hello everyone, recently i purchased a Savage Mark II F .22LR Bolt Action rifle and I am planning to mount a scope on it but i need the bases first. so what weaver base # is made for this rifle. i'm looking to buy two peaces not the one peace mount. so for those who installed a two peace on it what weaver number did you use for it? and does the rear mount differ from the front mount size wise? or they both same level and height?
last time i bought a weaver #24 but not sure if the two base mount should be the same height and level or one should be thicker abet because when i mounted the scope on the base using a 1" ring the scope looked not leveled to the horizontal ... so looking for an answer from those who know what is the exact weaver number that should fit this savage Mark II F .22LR bolt action rifle. and where can i get them for cheap. I live in Langley BC Canada.
